Focus on heavy equipment
The rotary sludge drying system is specifically designed for sludge with high moisture content, high viscosity, and low calorific value, it is usually used in sludge treatment in municipal, dyeing, and papermaking industries. After dewatering by a filter press, sludge with 80-90% moisture can be reduced to 55-60%, then rotary sludge dryer will further reduces its moisture content to below 20%. The dried sludge can be used for agricultural purposes, as fuel, for incineration or landfill.
Structure
The rotary sludge dryer mainly consists of a rotary drum, a hot air furnace, a breaking up equipment, and a dust removal system. The selection of heat source is flexible, such as biomass, steam, natural gas, coal, hot oil, waste gas, you can choose the most economical heat source according to your actual condition. The breaking up equipment is used to prevent sludge material from adhesion and enhance drying efficiency.
Working principle
The wet sludge is fed into the rotary drum through the feeding device and comes into contact with high-temperature hot air generated by the thermal furnace, rapidly evaporating moisture. The wet sludge is lifted by the lifting plates, forming a curtain-like material layer, which increases the heat exchange area and improves drying efficiency. When the material falls, it tends to adhere to the drum wall. The dispersing device promptly removes the adhered material from the inner wall, preventing sticking. After sufficient heat exchange, the sludge reaches the required moisture content and slides to the discharge outlet, completing the entire drying process.

Many mineral processing plants face a confusing problem: even with the same processing capacity, some copper concentrate drying lines consume far more fuel and power than others. The energy gap usually reaches 20%–40% in actual operation. The difference i
Utilizing boiler exhaust gas (120°C–180°C) from a power plant as the heat source for a fly ash dryer is a core strategy for reducing costs in fly ash recovery projects. However, three key issues must be addressed in practice:
Freshly washed sand retains too much surface moisture, unsuitable for direct storage, transportation or end-use processing. For sand production plants, professional sand drying equipment is essential to consistently reduce moisture and qualify finished sa
In the slag processing industry, traditional drying equipment often suffers from issues such as low thermal efficiency, rapid heat loss, and poor sealing, resulting in significant energy waste and high drying costs. In reality, the key to overcoming these
