Sludge is a semi-solid waste slurry that settles at the bottom of an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and is taken out of the system for treatment or disposal. The slurry from an Effluent Treatment Plant is called ETP sludge and exists in a solid or semi-solid state.
ETP sludge is difficult to use industrially due to its high moisture content and low calorific value. It also contains high concentrations of chemicals and heavy metals, posing a significant risk of environmental pollution. In response to the current status of sludge treatment in the market and the different characteristics of sludge, Jiutian has developed a new sludge rotar drying system that reduces the moisture content of the product to below 25%, meeting the conditions for sludge landfill and further incineration.
